My current and official Author’s Bio:  With an overactive imagination and a love for writing, Laura Stapleton decided to type out her daydreams and what if’s.  She currently lives in Kansas City with her husband, daughter, dog, and a few cats.  When not at the computer, you’ll find her in the park for a jog or at the yarn store’s clearance section.

My unofficial? I’ve been playing around with writing fiction for over twenty years and have the rejection letters to prove it.  Self-publishing has allowed me the freedom to tell my stories my way.  Not only that, it gives my inner control freak free rein from start to finish.

My number one goal in writing?  To give readers an escape into another world, whether that’s in another universe, time, or just down the street.
